Singing stars of Swindon!
There's not long to go now as it's that time of year again when judges will be making the final decision on who is to be the winner of Junior Star Singer.
As Amanda and Rachael just tie up the final few shows on the tour, there has been much speculation on who might go through as there is just so much tough competition out there! How easy is it really to judge Junior Star Singer when you have that much good talent in the bracket of 10-16 years across the UK. Very, very, very difficult. The judges this year are a combination of Georgia Lois, our Junior Judge, who joined the competition when it was originally called Junior Star Factor and was a talent show for kids held in venues across the Southern part of the UK. After being mentored by Amanda Neale and now currently recording her Junior EP, she is this year's selected judge for the radio competition. She has to make that mind-boggling decision along with Richard Hadfield, originally from the band Collabro.
Richard won the TV talent competition Britain's Got Talent in 2014 with Boy vocal group Collabro, going on to perform in a successful sell out tour, he now performs solo. With a combination of commercial, swing and jazz tracks, Richard Hadfield is the celebrity judge for Junior Star Singer this year, who also has the tough job with Georgia Lois to decide who goes through. The decision is also made by record Producers Anthony Goldsbrough and Matt from Soundbox who give their advice and opinions on who they think really has star quality to win.
As we wait with baited breath for the final to arrive on November 12th, the shows continue. ...........
Junior Star Singer came to Swindon on Friday 22nd September 2017. Swindon is a town which can give the best of both worlds. Not only is there the convenience of living in a modern town with all its amenities, but it is surrounded by countryside of outstanding beauty, whichever way you look. Swindon is a stone's throw from the Marlborough Downs and Savernake Forest. Also if you choose to go in the opposite direction instead, you can find yourselves in the Cotswolds. The world's greatest ever adventurer, David Hempleman-Adams, is proud to be a Swindonian among the celebrities that come from there.
Junior Star Singer was presented by Shirley Ludford from Swindon FM who gave a live link to Amanda Neale who runs the show. The contestants were Lillia, Caitlin and brothers Billy and Louie.
